Meet Jeannette
Ready to SERVE again!
A first-generation American born in East Los Angeles, California. Her parents immigrated to the United States from Guatemala in their teenage years. Her parents instilled Christian and conservative values into Jeannette and her siblings. Both parents are now proud American citizens and strong believers in the American Dream.
Living in East Los Angles, she grew up in a predominantly Hispanic community. Her father worked as a mechanic and her mother as a housekeeper and nanny. Growing up in this community even at a young age, Jeannette knew she always wanted to contribute back to her community. Her family then moved to Avondale, Arizona. An Agua Fria High School graduate and attended Estrella Mountain Community College. Her modest beginnings propelled her to join the United States Army at the age of twenty-one. Her military background includes serving a deployment from 2011-2012 in Kandahar, Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom as part of a Special Unit known as an Army Female Engagement Teams.

She was a Army Military Police Officer and Federal Police Officer with the United States Air Force for a total of eight years of law enforcement experience. Jeannette is known for sharing her story about domestic violence, sexual assault, and war – empowering others to continue sharing their experience and breaking the silence of trauma. This California native now resides in Avondale, Arizona. She is a single mother to a little boy and has a full-time career as an Executive Liaison. She strongly believes in the American Dream and is a proud patriot.
